Oussama Menchaoui collages with technical manipulation of Tube-TVs, manipulated digital imageries and audio-visual controls.
Through screening images on several TV’s the artist tries to project his inner reflections into the displayed screens. In his creation process, the artist is researching a way “to see” his thoughts in an attempt to make visible what usually remains hidden inside. The visuals are sometimes altered, negative, blurry and sometimes even completely absent with only a sound. One powerful aspect of Oussama Menchaoui’s work is the experimental part.
