Curator, Writer, and Artist (born Nov1984 in Kuwait)
A writer-artist, cultural events organizer in Kuwait, I found myself blogging on my Instagram page then it becomes a platform to write about the art & culture since 2012.
Art and social change, as well as the integration of knowledge and arts, are topics that motivate me, Interested in the curatorial process, how to integrate the visual arts, literature, and music into one experience, which is organizing and linking creative works together.
Since 2011 I increasingly got interested in humanities and arts through reading, researching, writing, and visiting artist studios and art exhibitions. These activities helped me to direct my interests and shaped my experiences in the field. In 2019 I developed the wish to guide my skills and put my experiences in the frame of curatorial practice.
How to present and represent contemporary artists? What is the link between their artworks? My vision is to direct the public attention to increasing art appreciation in society, to shed light on contemporary art and artist’s experiences, especially in the Gulf region and Kuwait.
The internal question that always guides me is: how did humans express their existence through arts throughout time? How have metaphors reflected and shaped their quality of understanding life – to be more balanced or silent rebels!
